The humble Petition and Appeal
of the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of St. Clement
Danes in the County of Middx

Sheweth

That by an order under the hands and Seals
of the Right Honourable Sir Samuel Fludyer< no role > Bart .
Lord Mayor and Thomas Rawlinson< no role > Esqr . Two of his
Majesty's Justices of the peace for the City of London
and Liberties thereof (one of the Quorum) bearing
date the 12th. day of January 1762 John Stanley< no role >
aged Forty three Years was removed from the Parish
of St. Giles without Cripplegate London to the
Parish of St. Clement Danes in the County of Middx
as the place of his last legal Settlement whereby
your Petitioners Conceive themselves to be Agrieved
and against the said Order do Appeal

Pray that a Day may be appointed
this present Session for the
hearing and Determining thereof
