Session of Oyer & Terminer.


The King agt. Robert Stimpson< no role > and William Bailey< no role >

Mary Jones< no role > of Great Tower Street London Widow maketh Oath that she
this Deponent was bound by two several Recognizances in the Sum of One
Hundred Pounds for the Appearance of the said Robert Stimpson< no role > and William
Bailey
< no role > at the Session of Oyer and Terminer holden for this City in the Month of
October One Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty one to take their Trial on an
Indictment against them for a Misdemeanor And this Deponent saith that the
said William Bailey< no role > appeared at the said Session and took his Trial on the said
Indictment but the said Robert Stimpson< no role > absconded and hath not as yet
appeared to take his Trial to the great Surprize of this Deponent by Reason
whereof her said Recognizance as to the said Robert Stimpson< no role > became forfeited
And this Deponent saith that she hath made very diligent Enquiry in order
to find out where the said Robert Stimpson< no role > is but hath not been able to get
the least Intelligence of him And saith that she will use her utmost
Endeavours to find out the said Robert Stimpson< no role > and hopes that she will be
able to have him forthcoming to take his Trial on the said Indictment in Case
this Honourable Court will be pleased out of their great Indulgence to respite
this Deponents said Recognizance for if the same should be estreated and the
said One Hundred Pounds levied upon this Deponent it will be the total
Ruin of this Deponent and her Family.
