maketh Oath that he this Deponent did on the Tenth Day
of this Instant October receive a Notice or Summons Signed William Chetham< no role >
dated first October instant at Mr. Fords Office in Coleman Street
to the Purpose [..]
following That Josiah Weatherill< no role >
being Bound over to Appear at the
Session held in December last, and not Appearing According to the Condition
of his this Deponents Recognizance for that purpose it became forfeited and
must be Estreated into the Court of Exchequer in Order to the Issuing
Process thereon against him this Deponent for the Levying the Penalty
unless prevented by Appearance and Proper Application to stay Proceedings
thereon at the next Session which would begin at Guildhall on the Eighteenth
instant for which Purpose this Deponent had that Notice This Deponent
Saith that on receiving such Notice or Summons he this Deponent on the
Eleventh instant October went to Mr. Fords Office in Coleman Street
where to his great Surprize the said Mr. Fords Clerk Produced a Recognizance
taken at the Mansion House sometime in the Month of NovemberOctoberlast, Wherein
this Deponent together with One John White< no role >
of South Mims
in the County
of Harford
Farmer
were bound seperately in the Sum of Fifty Pounds
each for the Appearance of the said Josiah Weatherill< no role >
as of the then next
December Sessions And this Deponent saith that he never was bound with
the said John White< no role >
for the said Josiah Weatherill< no role >
in such Recognizance or in any
other Recognizance Whatever nor does he know the said Josiah Weatherill< no role >
or ever saw him to the best of this Deponents Knowledge or belief
And this Deponent further saith that he does not know the said John White< no role >
the other person mentioned in the said Recognizance to be bound with this
