his Brother then shewed him the Bank Bill & that
it was for the Sum of £1000, says they then parted &
agreed to meet at his said Brother's Lodgings at 6 o'Clock
the same Evening which they did and then and there
agreed that said John Kello< no role > shou'd goe out of Town
and get the sd. Bill exchanged and that Bath &
Bristol were Places proposed, says that as his sd.
Brother had not Money to goe out of Town with
he proposed the next Morning to his Landlord
Mr. Duffield to Discount a Bill upon this Informt.
for 10 or £15 payable in six days which this
Informt. was then and thereofferedto accept
says that this being refused by Mr. Duffield the Landlord
he this Informt. went to his Cousin Mr. Lawford
one of the Clerks in the Southsea House & Borrowed
Ten Guineas of him about one o'Clock the same
day for which he gave his Note, says that when
he parted from his Brother that Morning in Order
to get Money for his Journey they agreed to meet
together at the 3 Tuns near Temple Barr where
he met his Brother about 4 o'Clock [..]
that they staid there half an hour and that he
gave his said Brother all the Money except fourteen
Shillings, that they supped together that Night at the
blue Ports in Maiden Lane where this Informt.
had Oysters for Supper, says that they then went
and lay at an Inn in Piccadilly from whence his
Brother set out in a Post Chaise about five of
the Clock the next Morning and this Informt.
farther says that he has lived as a Clerk to
Mr. Chas. Moore< no role > a Blackweel Hall Factor for
