Benjamin Jones< no role > a prisoner Maketh Oath & Saith that on Monday Sennight
John Davison< no role > complains of a Violent pain in his Stomach, But was very
Well before, And heard him say that the Stuff they had given him in his Milk
would be the Cause of this Death, And heard him Accuse one Joseph
Johnson
< no role > & Henry Pestell< no role > with puting the stuff into his Milk.

John Cole< no role > in a Prisoner Maketh Oath & Saith That on Friday the 20th. of March
John Davison< no role > had a Loosness upon him Occasioned as this Depont. Imaqines
by the Closeness of the prison, But was afterwards very well, Says on the
Monday following which was the 23d. day of March to complained of a
purging and was very Ill, And on the Tuesday Complains Violently of his
Bowells; And heard by Mr. West that they had given the sd. Davison something
in his Milk; Says further that the Keeper then hearing of it, taxed one
Joseph Johnson< no role > with it & after some little time walking about said since
I must speak the truth said the one Henry Pestell< no role > was the person that had
given it him, Says that Mr. Delmakey was them sent for, And this Depont.
desired him to declare what he had made up for the sd. postell, And he said it
was Jallop & some salt of Wormwood, further say that he Visited the said
John Davison< no role > Sevll. times & once in particular he put his head to his, And
then heard him say that they have Killd one, Says then he spoke to Mrs.
Davison who was then present & asked her why she did not get a Dr. to her
Husband, Says that she did go to Dt Lob, & brought a prescription which
this Depont. looked at & carryed it to Mr. Meadones another prisoner and a
Surgeon to ask his Opinion, Says the Sd. prescription was the carryed to
Mr. Delmahoys & made up & given Accordingly, Says on Thursday the 26th.
he saw him again & was then very Ill, says that he saw him Sevll. times
after Especially on the Sunday the 29th. day of March the Day he Died & then Saw
him very much disordered and this Eyes quicke set as if he was then dying
Says that he then went to his own Room & abt. 11 o Clock was informd that the
was dead, says that Davison was of a jokeing Ludicrous Disposition
