Thomas Scott< no role > now a prisoner in his Majestys Goal of Newgate for the
abovementioned Felonys and whose Tryall is Expected to Some on at this
Present Sessions Maketh Oath that William Jones< no role > and John Williams< no role > [..]
will beTwo Material witnesses for this Deponent upon his said Tryall, and
without whose Testimony this Deponent Cannot Proceed thereto are now
Resident in the City of Dublin in the Kingdom of Ireland , which Deprives
this Deponent of the Benefitt of their Evidence at this Time, But that this
Deponent will [..] his Utmost Endeavours by his Friends, and verily believes
he shall be Able to procure the said William Jones< no role > and John Williams< no role > to be in
London, and Appear as Witnesses for this Deponent before this Honourable
Court on his Tryall at the next Ensueing Sessions to be held at the Old Bailey
London, And this Deponent Humbly hopes this Honourable Court will be
Pleased for the Reasons aforesaid to Indulge this Deponent so farr as to
Postpone his Tryall for the abovementioned Felony untill the next Ensueing
Sessions when this Deponent will be Ready with the said Two abovementioned
Material Witnesses to Take his Tryall for the Same, and will [..]
for no further Time to be Given him by this Honourable Court for that Purpose.
