Sitting on the Sill of the Door; Says that he touched him very Slightly on the Back

and Asked him if he would have some hag bands for his Jack Ass Upon which he cryed
out & said that he was very Soe & not well for that his Master has beat him This
Depont. Says that he never saw his Master strike him And that he knows the
Master very well and bears a very good Character

he heard the Deced cry out very much but what he sd. this Depont. knows not
