To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of St Botolph without Bishopsgate London and also to
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Hamblett of Ratcliff in the County of Middlesex

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us whose
hands and Seals are hereunto Sett two of his Majty's Justices of
the peace for the City of London (Quorn Unus) by the
[..]
Botolph without Bishopsgate London That John Ryley< no role > a poor
boy is aged about Seventeen years
is lately come into the
Said Parish endeavouring to Settle there contrary to Law and
unless timely prevented is likely to become chargeable
thereunto which We do adjudge to be true. and forasmuch
as it appeareth unto us the said Justices upon the Oath of
the said John Ryley< no role > That he was bound an apprentice by Indenture
to one John Showell< no role > a Shoemaker with whom he lived as such in the
[..] County of Middlesex [..]
and no other legal Settlement
elsewhere appearing unto us Since We do also adjudge the
said Hamblett to Ratcliffto be the place of his last
legal Settlement

These are therefore in his Majesty's name to will & require
you the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said
Parish of St Botolph without Bishopsgate forthwith to remove and convey
the said John Ryley< no role >
from out of your said parish unto the said Hamblett of Ratcliffe
and them deliver unto the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor there Some or one of them who are
hereby required to receive and provide for himaccording to
Law. Given under our hands and Seals this 21stday of
JulyAnno Dm 1721
