To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the parish of St Stephen Coleman Street London and
also to the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of
the middle parish in the Town of Guildford in the
County of Surry

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us
whose hands and Seals are hereunto sett two of his Maties
Justices of the Peace for the City of London (Quorn unus)
by the Churchwardens & Oveseers [..]
Parish of St Stephen Coleman street in the said City That [..]
Female bastard child named Mary < no role > aged about Eleven
Weekes is lately lest in the said parish contrary to law not
having and legal Settlement there and is already become
chargeable thereunto which wee do adjudge to be true
And forasmuch as it appeareth unto us the said Justices
upon the oath of Sarah Jones< no role > mother of the said Female bastard
Child That the said Child was born in the Middle parish in
the town of Guildford in the County of Surry And no other
legal Settlement elsewhere appearing unto us Since Wee
[..] adjudge the [..] middle Parish in the [..]
Guildford in the said County of Surry. To be the place of her
last legal Settlement

These are therefore in his Maties name to will
and require you the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the said Parish of St. Stephen Coleman street forthwith
to remove and convey the said Mary the Female bastard child
from out of your said Parish unto the said Middle Parish
in the towne of Guildford and her deliver unto the Church-
wardens and Overseers of the Poor there some or one of
them who are hereby required to receive and provide for
her according to Law Given under our hands and Seals
this 29th. day of September Anno Dm 1721 :
