Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us whose
hands and Seals are hereunto Sett two of his Majtys Justices of
the peace for the City of London (Quorm Unus) by the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Allhallows on the Wall LondonThat Jane Burdett< no role > Wide
with another Daughter a Cripple aged about two and thirty years
arelately come into the
Said Parish endeavouring to Settle there contrary to Law and
unless timely prevented are likely to become chargeable
thereunto which We do adjudge to be true And forasmuch
as it appeareth unto us the said Justices upon the Oath of one

the husband of the said Jane Burdett< no role > the mother rented and dwelt
in a house of upwards of Ten pounds yearly rent in the parish of
St Michael Cornhill London and no other legal Settlement
elsewhere appearing unto us Since We do also adjudge the
said parish of St Michael Cornhill to be the place of their last
legal Settlement

These are therefore in his Majesty's name to will & require
you the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said
Parish of Allhallows on ye Wall forthwith to remove and convey
the said Jane Burdett< no role > with Jane< no role > her Daughter
from out of your said parish unto the said parish of St. Michael
Cornhill and them deliver unto the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor there Some or one of them who are
hereby required to receive and provide for them according to
Law. Given under our hands and Seals this 16th day of
November Anno Dm 1720
