The humble Petition & Appeal of the Churchwardens & overseers
of the poor of the parish of St Faith the Virgin London

Sheweth

That by Virtue of a Warrant under the hands and Seals of two of
her Maties Justices of the peace within this City (no being of the Quorn)
bearing date the tenth Day of August last past Elizabeth Armitage< no role >
wife of Samuel Armitage< no role > with her two Children were removed from
the parish of St Bridgett als Brides London unto the said parish of
St Faith the Virgin alleadging the said parish of St Faith to be
the place of their last legall Settlement

That your petitioners doubt not but to prove that the
said Elizabeth armitage never had any Legall Settlement in
the said Parish of St Faith whereby they conceive themselves
aggreived by the Warrant and Judgment of the said two Justices
and do humbly appeal to your Honr and Worpps therefrom

Your Petitionrs therefore most humbly pray your
Honr and Worpps will be pleased to hear them in
the prmisses and that the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor of the poor of the said Parish
of St Bridgett als Brides may appear before
you and hear and abide the determination of
your Honr and Worpps touching this Appeale

And your Petitionrs shall ever pray Etc.
