Complaint being this day made unto us two
of his Matyes Justices of the peace for this City
& libtyes (Quorum Unus) by the Church Wardens
of St: Michael Royall London that Mary
Hodges
< no role > is lately come into their parish
likely to become chargeable thereunto unless
timely prevented And whereas it appeares unto
us by the Oath of ye said Mary Hodges< no role > that
her last legall settlement was in the parish
of St: James Garlickhith London where she
lived as an hired Servant with Mr. Henry
Randall
< no role > a Stuffe Dyer in Worster place for
the space of one whole year & finding she
hath had noe other legall settlement since

Edw Clarke< no role >


These are therefore in his Matyes name
strictly to charge & comond you to remove
convey & pass away the said Mary Hodges< no role >
out of your said parish of St: Michael Royall
London into ye. sd Parish of St. James Garlick
-hith & there leave her with the Church-
-Wardens & Overseers of ye poore of ye sd Parish
or one of them to be provided for according
to Law who are hereby required to maintain
& provide for her accordingly & for your
so doing this shall be your Warrant given
undr: our hands & Seales this 19th day of
August. 1699
