unto us by the Church wardens of the Pish
of St John Baptist
London That one

is lately come into the said Pish and
endeavours to gaine a Settlemt therein contrary
to Law, and that he is likely to become a charge
and burden to the said Pish if not prvented
And whereas
Elizabeth Radford< no role >
came before
us & made Oath that the said
William Radford< no role >
was in the yeare 1697 bound appntice
to
Thomas Chippin< no role >
Citizen & Cooke
of London
an Inhabitant in the Pish of St. Mary
Woolnoth
London for 7 yeares whom he
Served for some time, and therefore do
adjudge that the said Pish of St Mary Woolnoth
(for that wee came of find that since that
time he hath had any lawfull settlemt elce
where) is the place of the said
William

last legall above & settlement.
Wee therefore whose hands & seale are hereunto put
two of his Mat. Justices of the Peace
for this City (quor
unus) do in his Mats name charge & comand you
forthwth upon sight hereof to passe & convey the Sd
William Radford< no role >
out of the said Pish of St John
Baptist
into the said Pish of St Mary Woolnoth
and
deliver him to the Churchwardens or Overseers for
the poore there whom wee do also in his Mats name
charge & require to receive the said William Radford< no role >
and to take care & provide for him according to lane
until they shall be legally discharged of him And
this shall be yor warrt Given under Hands & Seales
