Whereas Complaynt hath beene made into
as whose hands and Seales and here unto sett two of their
Majesties Justices of the peace for the said Citties of London
one being of the Queen by the Church Wardens and
Overseers of the poore; of the parish of St. Bottolphs Bpps
gate London, That Henry Bates< no role > This name instance is in set 2959. of the Pish of St. George
Buttolph Lane London Porter , and Mary his wife and has
Children are lately come into theire said Pish. And are
likely to become Chargeable to the same unless tyme [..]
prevented And for as much as Oath is made before us
by the said Mary Bates< no role > wife of the said Henry Bates< no role > This name instance is in set 2959.
that, her said Husband was last Legally settled in the
Pish of St. George Buttolph Laced, London aforesaid for
about five yeares where they payd sewall Taxes, These are therefore
in theire Majesties names to require and coward
you the Officers of the said Parish of St. Bottolphs
Bpps Gate. London, or some or one of you, to take passe
and Carry way the said Henry Bates and Mary his
wife and two Children, out of your said parish to
the pish of St. George Bottolph Lane London aforesaid
And there Deliver them to the Church Wardens &
Overseers of the poore, of the same Pish, or to some
or one of them, Who are hereby likewise in theire
Majesties names required the said Henry Bates< no role > This name instance is in set 2959. and
Mary his wife, and two Children to receive and
provide for according to Lane And hereof you
nor any of you are to false Given vews. our hands
