William Halbort< no role > of London Gent maketh oath that
he this Depont together wth Mr John Wattson< no role > and some
others (on or about the Tenth of December last) was
in company wth. Mr Matthew hinth and Some discource
ariseing about the death of Mr Graham, He the said Matthew
Smith< no role > then declared to this Depont, That he & one Mr Atkinson
was Drinkeing aylasse of wine at ye Hornetanerne in
Fleet Street wth ye said Graham & one Mr Young yt
night yt Graham was killed, And the Said Smith
further Declared, that Some words ariseing beetwene
the Said young & ye Said Graham about A wager the Said
[..] Same declared yt hee did A granule ye matter in
dissrule as much as he could to make them fight And
that thereupon the Said young Challenged ye Said Grate an
to fight & Prsently after went from him & that ye Said
Grahamyoungprsently after followed him, And ye Said Smith
further Declared that he paid his recks [..] & went
home prsently after, And further Said that he had not
beene at home above halfe an houre but ye young
came to his house and him Asked him if he had met
Graham the sdGrahamyoung replyed he had mett him
& Kild him or words to yt Effect, & further told the
Said Smith yt he hoped as he was his frend he would
not Discover him & prsently after ye Said Smith Said
Grahamyoung went away And this Depont further Saith
yt he asked ye Said Smith that knoweing ye Said young
had Killd ye Said Graham why he did not Secure
him Who replyed he would not beetray any gent
or words to ye effect & this Depont further Saith yt [..]
The Said Smith told this Depont yt young had womon
& yt he ye Said Smith lent the Said young Some
moneyes but how much ye Deponet Doth not
well remember & ye sd Smith [..] declared ye
Said young told ye Said Graham That he had bought
A new Sword take all him and yt Graham replyed
he hoped he would pay the moneyes he owed
him beefore he kills him
