who being Examined this
13th. of February Anno Dm 1691 Sayeth
That about 4 of the Clock this after noone
this Examint. was driveing his Cart Drawn
by two horses in Newgate Street
loaded wth.
five Barrells of Figgs of about five hundred
weight haveing the hinder horse in his hand
saw A little boy on the other side the way makeing
from the horses & Cart but the boy makeing no
hast and the forehorse drawing soe hard her
could not with all his Strength Stop the Cart
altho he held the hindmost horse with all his
might Soe that the Off wheele run over the
boy, he sayth allso he made all the noyse he
Could to Stop the horses yet could not make
then stop And further sayeth not
