Who Saith That this morneing one of her Mats Servts .
acquainting her, that Alice Meddowes< no role > her other Servt .
was newly delivered of A child (as the Suspected)
thid Informant thereupon, examined the Sde Alice
about the same, who denyed she had A Child
But this Informt. haveing Intimacon, that there
was something in A Box belonging to the sd Alice
which might make some discony, this Informant
required the sd. Alice to open the sd Box, which she
refusing to doe, this Informant sent for A Constable
& A Midwife, but before the Constable came (and
after the Midwife was come) the sd Alice gave
this Informant the key of the sd Box wherewith She
opened it and therein found A new borne Male child
lyeing dead. And this Informant thereupon asking
the sd Alice, how she could denye it, the sd Alice
Answered, she did nothing to it, to kill it And that
it never cryed after it was borne.
