Saith that on ye 10th of January 1691/2 After dinner I was going out to Church
Lasted my Masters daughters Ann, if my Master was going to Church,
Shee told me my Master was taken very sill and would not goe out, I went
to Church with my Masters Daughter Ann as we were going to Church
my Master daughter Complained that shee was very sill, I desired
her to goe Back againe, Shee Refused and went to Church, but Shee could
not Stay till it was don but came home with me, when Shee came
home Shee was taken with a vomiting, and went to her bed Very sill,
my Master at the same time was Taken with a vomiting, And went to
his bed very sill, A bad then some Water Crewell For my Master on
the Hitchen Fier the Black being by asked me where the water
grewell was For his master, I told him yes, after he Waterswell
was Redy [..] my mistris told me my Master would have none of the
Crewell, my mistris then bed me Bring her a poirnger of the
water grewell which I did, Their being about halfe a pint of the
water grewell left, I asked my Master daughter Elizabeth if shee
would Eate it, Shee said Shee did not Love it, I asked the Black if he
would Eate it, he Amd ever me noe, I then tooke the water grewell
and did Eate it, as I was Eating of it I questioned if there was not pipped
in it, it seemed to be Hott and Burning in my Mouth, I prsently Found
my selfe sill and went out of the Kitchen, my mistris comeing into ye
Kitchen called For me, I came, Shee asked me if I had Eate of the
water grewell I said I had, and did belive some thing had been put in it
that I was very sill and did believe it would kill me, my Mistris said
their must be some thing put i it For Shee was very sill, the
Black standing by my mistris said what ned have you Poysoned
me, he said noe Mistris I have put nothing in it, My Mistris then
Vomited Very much, I doe belive it was neigh a Hundred times yt
I Vomited that Night, My Mistris sent to an Apoticary and he
Brought us things to take, but I prsently Vomited up all I tooke,
I went to my bed very sill, what the Doctors hath since ordred
Forme hath don me some good, but Few days since but I have Vomited,
And I Doe Feare I shall never be well move or I was Before
the Catt Vomiting much about the House and what Shee Vomited
Seem'd to be Water grewell, I asked my Mistris if Shee Left any of her
water grewell. Shee said Shee Left about seven or eight Spoonfulls,
I tooke in my Mistris povinger and Found but about a Spoonfull
Left, The Catt after much Vomiting Lay downe by the Fier, [..]
growning and panting And the next day the Catt died
