Who [..] saith that this Evening as he this Informant
was coming up the Strand
near the End of Southampton
Sheet
he Observed a person now present who calls himself James
Stanton< no role >
in Company with another Person Close behind Aim
At which Time Informant had in his right Hand Coat
Pocket the Linnen Handkerchief now produced, a Silk
Handkerchief and a Silk purse containing Five Shillings and
Sixpence in Silver, that feeling a Tug at his said Pocket he
turned wound and saw the Prisoner James Stanton< no role >
Ann
away whom he pursed a Considerable way and Secured
himthen put him into a Coach and brought him to this Office
and under one of the Seals of said Coach and in the Coroner
in which the Prisoner Stanton had sat he found the said
Handkerchief now produced, and [..] verily believes that he
the said James Stanton< no role >
Stole the said purse and
Handkerchiefs as aforesaid
