before me Nicholas Bond< no role > Esquire

Who being upon Oath saith that the Day for selling Black
Lead at No. 132 in Hetter Lane is the first Monday in
every Monththat on Tuesday last the Fourth Instant
being the day next following the last Sale a person now
present who calls herself Ann Massley, in Company with
another person also now present, who calls herself Lydia
Glover, came to this Informants house and offered him
a Quantity of Black Lead to sell, and which he this
Informant believes to weigh in the whole upwards of three pounds,
That upon [..] asking said Ann Massley< no role > what she
would sell it for, she replied a GuineaInformant
then asked her if she had any more, who answered [..]
not now, but that she should have more after the
[..] next Mouth, but Informant from the knowledge
he has of the Value of Black Lead, suspecting that said
Ann Massley< no role > had not come honestly by said Lead
from the Situate of the Sum she ask'd for the same
sent for a Constable to whose Custody he immediately
gave said Ann Mapley< no role > and her Companion Lydia
Gloverand this Informant further saith that to
the best of his Judgement the Lead so offered to him
by the said Ann Massley< no role > and which is now produced
is worth about the Sum of Four poundsAnd this
Informant also says that about a Month ago and as he
believes Yesterday four Weeks, a Man who is a Jew [..] and
believes is [..] Dealer and Chapman came to his House in
