The Information of James Hilhan< no role > taken before me
George Reid< no role > Esquire , one of his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace in and for the sd. County this 13th. Day
of August 1789

Who being duly sworn upon his Oath sayeth that about
Ten o'Clock last Night, he was Standing in St. James [..]
look at the Lights, that he was surrounded by the Man &
Woman new presents he calls. themselves James King< no role > and
Francis Agar< no role > and Elizabeth B [..] along with it an other Woman not yet taken
and violently hustled by him about, which made him apprehend
they wanted to pick his Pocket, upon which he asked the
Man what was meant by such Proceeding and endeavoured
to extricate himself from themthat he was then pressed
still close, and received a Blaw in the Face from the Many
and was challenged by him to fight, which he de [..] ining
Man immediately Struck him a second violently Blow the
made him fallthat about three Minutes before he was
attached as above described; he had Four Shillings in Silver
in his Breecher Pocket and a Pocket handkerchief all which
were taken from him at the Sine of the said Scuffle And
this Informant is clear and positive that the Persons now
present who call himself James King< no role > is the Person who
Struck him and knocked him down as aforesaid and is
also positive that the Woman now present who calls himself
Thomas Agar< no role > is one of the Three who were in Company
with and aiding with the said James King< no role > in nothing
him as aforesaid and likewise that the Woman now
present who calls herself Elizabeth Blissenham< no role > he verily
believes to have been another of the Women who were aiding
and Assisting in robbing of him as aforesaid
