day of Jany 1787 Who being on oath Say and first the said Ann Owles< no role >
for herself Says about Eight Months since she let to Thomas

< no role > and his Wife Alice< no role > a ready Furnished Room in
which Room was at the since of their taking possession of the
same the Looking Glassproducedand Two Blankets produced
That the Door of the said Room being lately constantly kept sheet except
at the Times of going in and out of the same she mistrusted that some
of her things were missing she on the 16th Instant got admittance into the
said Room and found the Looking Glass and Blanket produced had been taken
away likewise a Bolster and Pillow One Limen Sheet One Flat Iron
one Copper Tea Kettle One Copper Saucepan. One Brass Candlestick one Brass
Tender One Blue and White Check Limen Window Curtain [..] property
let by her to the said Thomas Dowse< no role > and Wife with the said Room which had
likewise been taken away

Martha Stratford< no role > on her Oath says The Looking Glass produced The Prisoner
presents who says his Name is Thomas Dowse< no role > pawned on the 28th. Novr last for the sum of Three Shillings
and afterwards Six pence most In his Own Name saying it was his Own property. And that the
Blankets produced were pawned in the Name of the said Thomas Down< no role >
for the sum of Two Shillings one on the 6th. the other 8th of Decr last Says she doth not recollect if the said Thomas
Down
< no role > or his Wife or any other person pawned them in his Name

Declares That the Plaintif Ann Owles< no role >
had agreed to settle with him if he would
pay her Two Shillings a Week and that [..] he
agreed to the same
