Who being on their Oath say And first The said Benjamin Monk for himself Says
Last night he went with the said

to the Sign of the Ship a Public
house to drink with Two Women and Some time after he went to the Bar
and
and gave one of the said Women a Glass of Rum he having a glass of Brandy The said
Woman left him and went away from him Says he is Certain at
thatthe Time of the
said Woman going away which was about the hour of One in the Morning he had to the Amount of Eight or more Shillings and
a Dollar in his Breeches Pocket and half a Guinea in his fel and in about half and hour afterward the said

and the other woman left him That being in Liquor he fall asleep and near to the
hour of Six he awoke and found all his money gone cause the half Guinea Says he is sure One of the Shillings
produced is his property and that he had the same after the Woman drank the Rum as
aforesaid and which Shilling he described to

awoke he felt in his Pockets and said he had been robbed
of all his Monyall but half a Guinea and a broken Six pence which was in his Tob: That
This Informant told him there had been no person near him but the said Nicholas James< no role >
and that it must be the men who had set by him who robbed himSays he told this Informant
he had lost a remarkable Dollar and a Remarkable crooked Shilling which he had marked
with his Sheet
