Black Lead to this Informants House in Great swan Alley aforesaid
aforesaid where they left itThat said Bray desired Informant
and said Barnet to call the next day Morningthat the
Morning following [..] said Barnet and he accordingly called
when said Bray informed this Deponent thattheyhe had got
some Lead of a finer sort and that they should have got
much more, had they not been disturbed, and that they had
been three Hours at Work in breaking a Wall to get at
said LeadThat said Bray then got out of Bed and with
the Assistance of said MaryWilliamDawson< no role > pulled an Apron
and a Cloth containing a Quantity of black Lead from
under the Bed and offered to sell the same [..] for
ten Guineas that he this Informant offered him Five
Guineas for it, which he would not accept of
saying, that he had sold a small handkerchief full
of it the Night proceeding forfivethree GuineasThat on
Saturday last about 5 o Clock in the afternoon said Bray
and Mr. Glue came to this Informants and told him
that one Lucy a Constable had informed him that he
had got the Names of all the persons concerned in taking
the black Lead, and that it would therefore be better for this Informant
to get out of the way, as they had told the other persons,
who were concerned, to do the SameThe said Henry Barnet< no role >
