The Information of John Christian Hartman< no role > and
Martin Kuhn< no role > taken on Oath before before us in
William Quarrill< no role > and Samuel Hawkins< no role > Esquires in
two of His Majesty's Justices of the peace in and for
the said County the 8th day of March 1786

This being on their Oath Say And First the said John [..]
Christian Hartman for himself saith that he is a Rbr
and Lodges at the House Martin Kalm< no role > the
Flying Horse in Lambett Street Goodman Fields That
he went on Monday Morning last to Work on Board a
this lying in the Rhoor Hames and returned to his Lodgings
last Night that about Nine o'Clock he [..] found that his B [..]
had been Broke open and he following money things Stolen from thence [..]
viz one Pair of Sattin Breeches one pair of Silver Knee Buskle,
one pair of Silver Shoe Buckles, one Silver Watch half
a Guinea in Gold and four Shillings in Silver, [..] further
Saith that a remarkable Shilling now produced by the
officer is the property and money of him this Informant
from which Circumstances he Suspects that the [..]
And the said Martin Halm< no role > for himself saith that last Night
when the said John Christian Hartman< no role > complained [..]
at the house that his Box was Robbed he made an enquiry and
Searched all the Lodgers then in his House That he found on the
person now present who calls himself John Frank< no role > This name instance is in set 2194. one Knife and a piece of Biscuit [..]
who said that he had no money in his pocket nor any thing
else about himThis Informant not being Satisfied a
Searched him a Second time and found in his Breeches Fob [..]
one Guinea and one half in Gold and Six Shillings in
Silver Amongst which is a particular Shilling
which this Informant gave in Change for a Guinea
to the said John Christian Hartman< no role > on Sunday last
Lastly saith that the said John Frank< no role > This name instance is in set 2194. had that Night
been up Stairs in the Lodging room [..] after which
he went out and was some about half an hour [..]
That he gave the said Money to Thomas Alden< no role >
an Head borough who now produces the same
and that on considering the several Circumstances he in
suspects and verily believes the said John Frank< no role > This name instance is in set 2194.

above mentioned from the Box of him them
