Middlesex to Wit

The Information of William Weston< no role > of the Thirteen
Cantoons at Iron Gate in the Precinct of Saint
Catherines in the County of Middlesex aforesaid
Vitcualler taken before one this 16th. day of Febry. 1783

Who being upon Oath says that last Monday was a Week
he saw Joseph Church< no role > alias Hitchcock< no role > now present in Tothill
Fields Bridewell , when he told him that himself and May
Cook
< no role > had taken a great Quantity of the Dollars Meaning
those taken out of the Ship Elbe (as this Informant understood)
amounting to 2000 or 2500 to Thomas Castles< no role > in Long
Lane Southwark , being own Share, May Cooks Share
and the Cook of the Ships Share and had buried them in the
said Castles Garden and that he Church and John Miles< no role > had
afterwards removed them from the Garden and buried them
in a Field at the back of the Tan Yard in Long Lane
