The Information of Rebecca Richards< no role >
wife of John Richards< no role > , Simon Wilson< no role >
and Samuel Partridge< no role > , taken this 1st. day
of February 1785 .

Who being on Oath say and first the said Rebecca Richards< no role >
says that about ½ past 2 o'Clock this afternoon she saw a person
now present who calls himself Francis Scott< no role > in her passage
with a Bundle under his Coat that Informant asked him what
he had got when he ran away and dropped a Coat and shirt
no produced when Informant called out "Stop Thief" and a
person secured said Scott, And further says that a Gown, a Shawl
a Waiscoat, a Skirt and a Coat now produced are the property of
John Richards< no role > and were Stolen, And the said Simon Wilson< no role >
says that he saw said Scott come out of said John Richards< no role > 's
House and saw him drop a Coat, a Skirt and a Waistcoat now
produced that on said Rebecca Richards< no role > calling "Stop Thief"
he secured said Scott. And the said Samuel Partridge< no role > says that
he searched said Scott and in his Coat found a Shawl now
produced.
