Surgeon saith That he Examined the Deceased
Yesteron Monday last And again to Day and
hath this day Opened the Head and Body
That the Contents of the Abdomen and Chestwere
Appeared in a perfect stateAnd there was
no Appearance of Injury upon the Body
externallyThat upon the right side of the
Head near the Temple appeared a violent
ContusionOn Removing the Scalp there
Appeared a Fissure about an Inch in Length
on the superior Part of the os Bregmatis
That on Opening the Skull the Membranes
and Brain under the Fissure appeared
much Inflamed And That the Fissure and
Inflamation on the Brain Originated as
Informant supposses from the violent
Contusion above mentioned which might
be Caused from any [..] Instrument
or by a HallAnd Informant us of
Opinion thatwerethe Contusion was the imedeate Occasion of the
Death
