The Information of Samuel Bennett< no role > Taken
the 1st. day of October 1784

Who upon his Oath Saith That about the hour of 5 o'Clock
on Tuesday Morning last he met a Woman who says her
Name is Eleanor Jones< no role > and they [..] agreed to go to the French
horn Inn in Holborn where they had [..] [..] Run and
Water together That he afterwards went with her taken
Lodging room in the House of one Pickering in King Street
Drury Lane and they went to Bed together. That he put his
Breeches under his Pillow That there were in his Breeches a
Purse containing Ten Guineas One half Guinea and Nine
Shillings and Six Pence in Silver That he fell asleep and
awoke about half past 8 o'Clock the same Morning at which
time the said Eleanor Jones< no role > was going out of the Room very
hastily and She not having all her Cloaths on he suspected he
had been Robbed and upon Searching for his Breeches he
found Them on the other side of the Bed and upon Examing
the Pockets his Purse and Money was Taken away and he
then made Pursuit after the said Eleanor Jones< no role > but she made
her Escape at that time and was Taken into Custody by him
in the same Lodging room about the hour of 4 o'Clock in the
afternoon lying on the Bed much Intoxicated with Liquor
