The Information of Richard Carter< no role > and Thomas
Williams
< no role > taken before me this 11th. Day of
October 1784.

Who being on Oath say and first the said Richard Carter< no role > says that the
in Shopman to Charles Thomas< no role > of the Strand Hosier That this Morning
two person now present who call themselves Catherine Spencer< no role >
and Sarah Baker< no role > with another Woman) came into Mr Thomas's
Shop, when sarah Baker< no role > asked to see some Flannel and Bought
two Yards and half at which time a pair of silk Stockings
now produced were laying on the Comptie That after said Woman
were gone he missed said pair of Stockings and sent said Thomas
William
< no role > after them. And the said Thomas Williams< no role > Says
that he went after them into the Strand and seeing the said
Pair of Stockings in said Spencer's paid he brought there
and Baker back to said Shop, but the Third woman [..]
to come.
