The Information of John William< no role > Junior
of Holborn Hosier taken before me this
21st. day of October 1784.

Who being on Oath say that about 5 o' Clock this evening
a person now present who calls himself Charles Hughes< no role >
came to his fathers Shop under foretence of lying some
Stockings but did not purchase any That after Hughes had gone
out of said shop, Informant Suspecting he had stolen
something pursued him when on Searching said Hughes
Informant found a pair of Speen silk Stockings now produced in his inside
Coat Pocket. And this Informant further says that the
said Stockings are the Property of John Williamson< no role > his
father.
