This Informant Bryan Valentine Robinson< no role >
saith that the
is Clerk to Messrs. Henry Goodwin< no role >
James Bracy Jerry Erasm [..]
Madox and Thomas Thornton< no role >
Brewers
and Co partners in
Lower East Smith field in the said County and saith that these
has been lately stolen at Sunday Times from the Warehouse
of the said Messrs. Goodwyn Perry< no role >
Madox and Thornton
adjoining to Pump Yard and the Butcher Row at Ratcliff
Cross
in the said County several Bags of Hops their property
And this Informant further saith that [..] yesterday
in Consequence of a Warrant granted to search the Cool shedHouse
and premises of the said James Lecand in Whitechapel Road
for the said stolen Bags of Hops, this Informant went
with Samuel Yardley< no role >
the peace officer in Search of the same
and there this Informant found in the said Coal shed [..]
a Bag now here produced marked Y. 274 with a Quantity
of Hops therein weighing [..] upwards of Two hundred
pounds and further saith that the said Bag is one of
those which have been stolen from the said Ware house as
aforesaid.
And this Informant James Lecand saith that about five
Weeks ago Thomas Milton< no role >
the prisoner now here
under Examination and one James Bemey< no role >
brought the said Bag of Hops to this
Informant in a Cart and sold him the same at the Rate of
four Guineas per Hundred Weight and this Informant paid
the said Thomas Milton< no role >
the Sum of Seven Guineas in part
of Payment for the same.
