taken on Oath before me one
of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the
County of Middlesex
aforesaid
This Informant Thomas Adams< no role >
saith That on the Eleventh day
of December Instant about seven O'Clock in the Evening there was
feloniously stolen out of his shop situate in Lamb street
in the Parish
of Christ Church
one Lump of Sugar weighing about five or six
and twenty Pounds the property of this Informant and further
saith that the Lump of Sugar now produced by the said Thomas
Jacks< no role >
is th same which was stolen from this Informant as
aforesaid
And this Informant Thomas Jacks< no role >
saith that about the
same time he was going to Mr. Adams's< no role >
Shop
to bury some
Sugar, that at the door way he met John Moore< no role >
the Prisoner
now under Examination, with the said Lump of Sugar in
his Arms
, which he was the said John More< no role >
steal out of the
shopandThat the said John More< no role >
attempted to run away
with the same down Wheeler Street but on this Informants
crying out stop thief and running after him he threw the Sugar
Down
and was immediately taken into Custody in sight of
this Informant.
