Who being on Oath say, and first the said Arthur
Shakespeare< no role >
Says that between 12 and 1 in the Morning of Saturday
the 2nd. of June last as he going in his Chariot to Stepney Causeway
he was stopped in a Lane in the Parish of Saint George in the East
near Shadwell
and robbed of a Gold Watch, a Chain, four Seals a
Gold Key, a Hook two Guineas in Money and some Silver by four
FootpadsSays that [..] he verily believe a person now present who
calls himself John Steward< no role >
is one of the said Footpads who
robbed him as aforesaidAnd the said John Avery< no role >
Says that
he was behind his said Masters Carriage during the time he was
robbed and is very sure that the said John Steward< no role >
is [..]
one of the four footpads that robbed [..] him of his Watch, Seals &
Money
