"H. turner Esqr", when said Shepherd (who was then looking
over this Informant) desired this Informant to add" Junior
Neahs Row Hampton Court ', which addition this Informant made
at said Shepherds request. That said Shepherd then took the
said Goods and went away. That he hath since, tendered the said Order
for Payment of Money, at Browns and Collinson Bankers in
Lombard Street , where this Informant was informed that no
such Person as H Turner of Green Street had any Cash
with them nor ever hadthat he hath likewise made an
Enquiry after " H Turner" in Green Street, but can't find
that any such person resides or lives in said Street-that
he hath likewise caused an Enquiry to be made after "H
Turner Esqr" junior in Noahs Row Hampton Court " and has
been informed that no such person can be found or heard
of there. And this Informant further says that from the
Circumstances before mentioned together with his Name being
Shepherd and not Turner, he this Informant doth suspect
an believe that the said John Shepherd< no role > did feloniously and falsly
make forge and counterfeits, and feloniously publish as true, the
said Order for payment of Money, to this Informant, knowing
the same to be false forged and counterfeited, with Intention
to defraud this Informant. And the said John Stoward
for himself says that he is Clerk to Messrs.. Brown Collinson
and Co.. of Lombard Street Bankers. That no such Person
as H Turner of Green Street, does nor ever shed, to this
