about eleven o'Clock as she was coming up stairs to lodge
with the said Martha Bokkey she met Thomas Whetstone
now
present coming down the Stairs and that he went away out
of the [..] House, And the said James Matthews< no role >
for himself
says that this Morning being informed of the said Robbery he
went with the said Martha Bokkey to apprehend the said Thomas
Whetstone
and on searching him there was found concealed
in a Handkerchief which was round his Neck the said counterfeit
shilling now produced together with 9s/6d of other Money though
the said Thomas Whetstone
had declared he had no Money except
what he pulled out of his Fob, that the said piece of a Garnet
Necklace was also found in the said Thomas Whetstone
's Fob
and the said counterfeit Six pence was also taken out of the
said Thomas Whetstone
's Fob by himself & thrown down
