The Information of George Biggs< no role > and Joseph Levy< no role > taken
before me this 13th. day of August 1781

Who being upon Oath say and first the said George Biggs< no role >
for himself says that on Friday Night last he went to a House
in Goodman's Fields with a Woman now present who calls herself
Martha Mc. Carthy, that he went to Bed and the said Martha Mr. Carthy
lay on the Bed, that when he awoke in the Morning he examined
his Pockets and found that a Handkerchief now produced and
nineteen pounds and upwards in Money had been stolen from him, that
he charged the said Martha Mc Carthy< no role > with having his Handkerchief
and she denied it, that he is very sure he had the said Money
in his Pocket and also the Handkerchief when he went into the
Room with the said Martha Mc Carthy< no role > , that he does not know
of any other person being in the said Room except the Said
Martha Mc. Carthy andthe Eshimself form the Time he went
to Bed to the Time of his Missing the Money and Handkerchief
and he does verily believe the said Martha Mc. Carthy stole
his said Money and Handkerchief, and the said Joseph Levy< no role >
for himself says that when he was sent for to take the said
Martha Mc. Carthy into Custody he searched her and found the said
Handkerchief now produced in the said Martha Mc. Carthy's Pocket
