The Information of Francis Gore< no role > taken before
me this 15th. day of July 1772

Who being upon Oath says that he knows James Dempsey< no role > John Devine< no role >
Francis Pursell< no role > and John Lyon< no role > now present, and Thomas Raffety now at large says that on Thursday
morning last about 8 o Clock the said Francis Pursell and this Informant
Stole out of a House in Saint Giles's a Black Coat and Waistcoat a Furstain
Frock a Striped Linen Waistcoat a Pair of Leather Breeches two Shirts two
Pari of Stocking and a Hat which said Apparell (except the Hat) was
sold the same Morning to two Clothsmen in the Street by the said
Francis Purcell< no role > and this Informant for £1..3d..6d says the Hat
was pawned by this Informant at Mr. Masters's Pawn broker in Holborn
Says that on Tuesday night last the said Francis Purcell< no role > and this Infor-
-mant robbed a Gentleman in the Fields near Sadlers Wells of a Stone
Stock Buckle a Pair of Metal Shoe Buckles and a Pair of Plated Knee
Buckles, a Black Leather Pocket Book and Spotted Linen Handkerchief
Says the said Stock Buckle this Informant lost in the Street that the said
Purcell sold the said Knee Buckles for two pence in the Streetandthat he
also had the said Pocket Book and that he sold the said Handkerchief to an
Old Cloaths woman in Holborn for Sixpence Says that on Friday last was
Fortnight the said James Dempsey< no role > the said John Devine< no role > and this Informant
robbed a Gentleman in a Post Chaise on the back road between Islington
and Holloway of a Gold Watch, fifteen Shillings in Silver, a Paper Snuff Box
(now produced) and a Pocket Handkerchief, Says that about 8 o Clock the
next Evening the said John Devine< no role > and this Informant sold the said Gold
Watch to the said John Lyon< no role > for £5..5s..0d says that the said Lyon
in order to Pay for the said Watch sent his Wife out (as this Informant
believes to Bishopgate Street ) to Change £20 Bank Note, and told this
Informant he should be glad to Change £20. Note every day to Buy such
a WatchSays that about two nights before the last mentioned Robbery
