which he served work the said Judith Whalin & forced [..] after hand
that in about two hours the said Patrick Murphy< no role >
expired in the Middlesex Hospital before the
Surgeon's could come to examine him
And this Informant William Burke< no role > for himself
saith that about Seven o'Clcok this Morning
he was in the other Informant David Prossers
Room when Patrick Murphy< no role > now Deceased
and the Persons now present who calls herself
Judith Whaylin were there & Judith
Whaylin say'd she wanted to have a Stitch
mended in her Shoe she sat down upon a Chair
close to the Work seat of the said David Prosser
& took Up the Knife now produced then took off
her shoe & was cleaning it with the said Knife
this Informant received the Shoe from her
& gave it to the said David Prosser for him to
mend she continued the knife in her hand
Patrick Murphy< no role > brought a Pint of Beer into
the Room which he gave to the Wife of David Prosser
who was ill in Bed for her to drink off which she
did & returned it to the said Patrick Murphy< no role >
who handed the said pot to the said Judith
Whalin & whilst has Ann was extended for
the purpose of handing the pot this Informant
heard the said Judith Whalin say she would
have her Revenge of him & saw her Immediately
Run the Knife into the Body of the [..] said
Patrick Murphy< no role > that he saw the KnifeBloody
Immediately afterwards Bloody in her hand
this Informt further saith that the sd. Patrick
Murphy< no role > Immediately cryed out that he was a
Dead Man this Informt seeing Judith
Whalin with the Knife in her hand & attempting
to Cut her own throat called to David Prosser that
more Murder would be Committed who Immediately
Seized upon the said Judith Whalin & got the
Knife out of her hand this Informant Immediately
went to the Assistance of the said Patrick Murphy< no role >
who unbuttoned his Waistcoat when he saw a
large Wound near the pit of his Stomach
