The Information of Elizabeth< no role >
the Wife of Robert Southgate< no role >
James Rackshow a Head borough
Frances Bond< no role > and Sarah Harrod< no role >
Servt . to Mr Eling a Pawn broker
taken before me One of his Majestys
Justices of the Peace for the said County

Who severally being upon Oath say And first
this Informt. Elizabeth Southgate< no role > for herself
saith that a Person now present who calls
herself Mary Rogers< no role > about Six weeks ago
lived with her as a Maid Servt. & abat that time
this Informt. went down into ye Kitchen to wash
her hands & left the Morning Ring now produced
upon a Ledge of the Kitchen Window after Breakfast
she missed the Ring recollected where she left it
went down into the Kitchen to see for it & found
it was gone there being no other person in the
Kitchen at the time she left it but the said
Mary Rogers< no role > she suspected yt. she had Stolen
it but did not know what became of the Ring
till yesterday Morning when the other Informt.
Frances Bond came to her & asked her if she
had employed the said Mary Rogers< no role > to Pawn
a Ring per her this Informant told her that she,
had not but that she had lost a Ring the
said Frances Bond told her that she had pawned
a Ring for Six Shillings which she had from
the said Mary Rogers< no role > who at the time of her
pawning it told her that it was pawned by the
Direction of this Informant this Informant
further saith that she never gave any Directions
to the sd. Mary Rogers< no role > to pawn the said Ring
nor did she Know where the said Ring was
till she received the Informn. from the sd. Frances
Bond and that the Ring now produced is the
property of her Husband Robt. Southgate &
was Stolen in the manner above described
And this Informant Frances Bond for herself
saith that about Six Weeks ago a Sister of the
person now present who calls herself Mary Rogers< no role >
brought a Gold Morning Ring which she shy'd she
