An Inquisition Indented taken for our Sovereign Lord the King at London, that is to say, at
the Parish of Saint Bannett Pauls Wharf in the Ward of Castlebaynard in London aforesaid on the fourteenth day of august
in the twenty ninth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third King of Great Britain Etc before Thomas Shelton< no role >
Gentleman Coroner of our said Lord the King for the City of London and Borough of Southwark on view of the Body of Thomas
Hunt now here lying dead by the oath of Sonathan Sills Stephen Wolfe Thomas Mayhew< no role > Richard Haines< no role > Alexander
Robinson Thomas< no role > Worcester James Tovey Thomas Wright< no role > Aaron Hall< no role > John Flower< no role > John Chadsey< no role > Charles Horn< no role > and Samuel
Mayovgood and lawful men of the City of London aforesaid who being now here duly chosen sworn and charged to inquire for our
said Lord the King when how and in what manner the said Thomas Hunt< no role > came to his death say upon their oath that the said
Thomas Hunt< no role > on the twelfth day of August in the year aforesaid being in and on board a certain Vessel called the Sally
Barge lying on the River Thames as the Parish aforesaid in the Ward aforesaid in London aforesaid it so happened that
the said Thomas Hunt< no role > accidentally casually and by misfotune fell from and out of the said Vessel into the said River
Thames and in and with the Waters of the said River was then and there suffocated and drowned Of which said
suffocation and drowning he the said Thomas Hunt< no role > did then and there die And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their
oath aforesaid do say that the said Thomas Hunt< no role > in manner and by the means aforesaid was suffocated and drowned
In Witness whereof as well the said Coroner as the said Jonathan fells the foreman of the said Jurors on behalf of
himself and the rest of his Fellows in their presence have to this Inquisition set their hands and seals the day
year and place first above written
