Vestry that Mr. Theed had proposed to Continue Tenant
at Thirty Pounds a Year Rent (which was an Advance of
Four Pounds a Year) untill the adjoining Houses
belonging to the City were taken down. And Mr. Theed
being present, consented thereto.

A Motion was therefore made by Mr. Maynard that
this Vestry do agree with Mr. Theed upon his Proposal to
continue Tenant of the said House at the Yearly Rent of
Thirty Pounds untill such time as the adjoining Houses
belonging to the City are taken down, so that the whole Term
does not exceed the Term of Seven Years, And being seconded
by Mr. Lem, the Question was put and carried in the
Affirmative.

Ordered that an Agreement be prepared between
the Church Wardens and Overseers and Mr. Theed according
to the said Motion and that Mr. Theed do thereby undertake
and agree to keep the premisses in Tenantable Repair during
the time he shall continue Tenant.

Plan of Parish

Mr. Pope then observed that if a Plan of the Parish
was taken it would save the Expence of annual Perambulations
on Ascension day, He therefore Moved that a Survey and Plan
be taken of the Boundaries of the Parish and that a Sum not
exceeding Twenty Pounds be allowed for the same. To this
It was objected by some of the Gentlemen present, that
without the Concurrence of the adjoining Parishes in fixing
the respective Boundaries of each Parish, such a Plan appear'd
to be useless, and that as great alteration would probably be
made in a few Years by the City's pulling down many Houses
in the Parish, it would be at least premature, but the Motion
being seconded the Question was put and Carried in the
Affirmative.

After which Mr. Church Warden Hudson Adjourn'd
the Vestry until Thursday the Seventh day of May next
at Nine o' Clock in the Forenoon.

Nl. Andrews.
