the Office of Under Church Warden for the year ensuing
and Chose.


Then Mr. William Arch< no role > This name instance is in set 1505. and Mr. George Dighton< no role >
were severally put up to serve the Offices of Collectors
of the Poor's Rate and Sidesmen for the year ensuing
and Chose.

Organ Tuner< no role >

Ordered That Mr. John Bennett< no role > be continued
Organist and Mr. Thomas Griffin< no role > Tuner and Cleaner
of the Organ for the year ensuing.

John Iselton< no role > was then put up and Chose Sexton
Bellows Blower, and Parish Warder. And It was
Ordered that Ten Guineas be given to him as a Gratuity
(over and above his Salary) for his Service during the
past year. And It was further Ordered that he be
allowed a Laced Hat and Coat with plain Waistcoat
and Breeches this present Year. and once in every two
Years if he continued in the Office of Parish Warder.

Parish Clerk

Ordered that a Sum not exceeding Twenty Pounds
ten shillings be paid to Mr. John Winter< no role > Oswin Parish< no role >
Clerk for one year ending at Lady day last as a Gratuity
Up on Condition he doth not collect any Money from
the Parishioners in lieu of Wages, and that he constantly
discharge the Duties of his place.

Engine Keeper

Then Mr. John Cooper< no role > was put up and Chose
Keeper of the Fire Engines for the year ensuing.


Then Mr. William Chesson< no role > . Mr. Peter Pope< no role > , Mr.
Richard James< no role > This name instance is in set 2783. , and Mr. Deputy Hebert were
severally Nominated to be Overseers of the Poor for
the Year ensuing.

Ordered that Mr. Pope Mr. James Mr. Deputy Hebert.
Mr. Maynard, Mr. Chauntrell, Mr. Kippax, Mr. Jas. Green< no role > ,
Mr. Kellam and Mr. Lem or any Three of them be appointed Auditors to Audit
the Account of Mr. Church Warden Chesson . The same to
be Audited in one Month after Ascension day.

Minutes of
Parish Workhouse

Then the Minutes were Read of the Proceedings
of the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
at the Parish Workhouse at Hoxton during the past year.
After which Mr. Church Warden Chesson Adjourn'd the
Vestry till another Notice should be given.
