Engine Keeper

At the same Vestry, the Minutes, of the last
Vestry of the 4th. April. were read and Confirmed.

Then Mr. Church Warden Hudson acquainted
the Gentlemen present that there was a Vacancy
for the Office of Engineer and Keeper of the Fire
Engines by the death of Mr. John Cooper< no role > .

And Mr. Maynard proposed, that to prevent any
Inconveniences that might arise from that Office
not being filled up, this Vestry should proceed to an
immediate Election of an Engineer for the Remainder
of the year, and the same was agreed to and resolved
by all the Gentlemen present.

Then John Iselton< no role > was nominated to be
Engineer and Keeper of the Fire Engines for the Remainder
of the Year at the same Salary as was given to the late
