Parish Clerk

Ordered that Mr John Winter< no role > Oswin the Parish
Clerk be paid by the Church Wardens a Sum not exceeding £20
for one year ending at Lady day last not as a Fixed Salary but
as a Gratuity only upon Condition that he dont presume to
Collect any Money from the parishioners under Colour or in
Lieu of Wages and that he constantly Attends and discharges
the Duties of his place upon all Occasions

Parish Warder

Then Mr Henry Newton< no role > Moved that a Parish Warder
or Street Keeper might be appointed for the year ensuing And
being Seconded by Mr George Maynard< no role > the Question was put
on the said Motion and carried in the Affirmative by a great
Majority

Ordered that a Parish Warder or Street keeper be
appointed for the year ensuing

Sexton

Then John Iselton< no role > and Sarah Parker< no role > This name instance is in set 1455. were severally put
up to Serve the Office of Sexton of this Parish for the Year
ensuing And upon the holding up of Hands the Numbers were
as follows

For John Iselton< no role > 24.
For Sarah Parker< no role > This name instance is in set 1455. 5.

Whereupon John Iselton< no role > was declared to be duly Elected
Sexton of this parish for the year ensuing

Livery for
Parish Warder.

Then Mr George Maynard< no role > Moved that the said John
Iselton be appointed Parish Warder and Street Keeper for the
year ensuing at a Salary of £6 and that he shoud be Allowed
a great Coat and Laced Hat at the parish charge once in two
Years (if he continued in the said Office) and being seconded
the Question was put on the said Motion and past in the
Affirmative

Ordered That the said John Iselton< no role > be appointed
parish Warder and Street Keeper for the Year ensuing at a
Salary of £6 with an Allowance of a great Coat and Laced Hat
at the parish charge once in two Years if he continued in
the said Office

Parish Chimes

A Complaint was made at this Vestry that the Parish
Chimes were much out of Repair

Whereupon Mr Thomas Hunter< no role > delivered in at the
Table an Estimate in writing of the charge of Repairing
the same amounting to £10
