Surveyor lays before
Committee plans
for Buildg. the Men's
Prison .The Surveyor laid before the Committee Plans for a Building for
a Mens Prison which being considered and approved with some
variations

Ordered that the Surveyor do prepare plans and particulars accordingly
and lay the same with an estimate of the expence before the Committee
on Thursday the 11th. of February next

Resolved that the Court be requested to empower this Committee
to Contract for and carry the same into effect

Wade, Wm< no role > . his appln.An application was made by Wm. Wade< no role > a Bricklayer who was much
hurt by the accident at the Mens Prison and confined 3 Weeks
in St. Bartholomews Hospital and lost part of his Cloaths, but
having been with his Friends in the Country for the recovery
of his health he was not apprised of the charitable contribution
made for the sufferers and therefore requested that some relief
might be granted to him

The Committee having disposed of the £50. ordered to be distribute [..]

Resolved that it be recommended to the Court that the Treasurer
be directed to pay him 2 Guineas.
