which Mr. Morgan replied that he would not remove the Tiles for
Mr. Lewis or any one else and if any accident happened they

or words to that effect And this Deponent further Saith that
from the time of the delivery of the above Letter continual complain
were made by him that the Story Posts and Bresummers described

put up at the time the accident happened and which were only
put up two days before and that part of the Building where they
were put up is now standing And this Deponent further Saith
that he verily believes the Accident of the falling down of the [..]
Building was occasioned by the workmen not putting up Story
Posts and Bresummers on the ground floor and from not shoring
the floors sufficiently to support them with the Bricks and
Rubbish that was continually laid on and from taking down

by this Deponent so to do And this Deponent further Saith
that if the directions given by this Deponent had been followed
he verily believes the Repairs and alterations might and would
have been completed without any accident whatsoever from
the falling of any part of the Building.
