that several Years ago She was hired and lived as
a hired Servant by the year at the yearly Wages of
Five Pounds with one Anderson of Long Alley in
the Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch in the
County of Middlesex Victualler and Continued in
Such Service in the said Parish for the space of two
years and by Means thereof as she this Deponent
is advised gained a legal settlement in the same Parish
And this Deponent Saith that she was never Married
nor hath she since her Servitude as above lived
as a hired Servant for a year nor done any Act
to gain a subsequent Settlement And this Deponent
farther Saith that about four weeks ago in the
Street Called East Smithfield Street in the Parish of
Saint Botolph without Aldgate in the said County
She was delivered of a Female Bastard Child
which hath since been Baptised by the name of
Elizabeth Clarke< no role > and registred by the name of Elizabeth
Clarke
