Rachael Clarke< no role > Single woman Maketh oath that her late
Father William Clarke< no role > deced hath informed her that he was
bound Apprentice to; and served his Apprenticeship with one
Moore in the Parish of Saint John wapping in the said County
of Middlesex Gun maker That after his apprenticeship was
expired he married this Deponents late Mother Dorothy
Clarke
< no role > deced After whose Death she this Depont. left her said
Father & was absent from him for about the Space of a year
and then she Came and lived with him again in a house of
four Pounds a year which this Deponents Father rented in
Crown Court in the Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate
in the said County of Middlesex where she resided as Part
of her fathers Family and had lodging and Board formd her
by her said Father and was taught by her Mother in Law
her said Fathers second wife the business of Making Slops
And this Deponent Saith that during such her said Fathers
residence in the said house he Paid the kings Tax for the
said house & was Charges for the same as this Deponent has
been Credibly informed and verily believes And this Depont
farther Saith that she was never bound apprentice Nor ever
lived as a hired Servant for a year Nor was ever Married
Nor ever did any Act to her knowledge or belief to gain
a settlement in her own right And lastly this Deponent Saith
that she hath two Children to wit Mary< no role > Aged about Seven
Years and Martha< no role > Aged about Nineteen Months both of whom
are illegitimate; and were born in the said Parish of Saint
Botolph without Aldgate And that one Robert Harris< no role > late
of the Same Parish Shoemaker did get her with Child of
the said two Bastard Children.
