Stephen Preston< no role > Maketh oath that about
Ninteen Years ago he this Deponent lived as a
hired servant by the year with one
of the parish of Marr in the County of york Farmer
and Continued in such service for the Space of one
whole year at the yearly Wages of Five Pounds
And by Means thereof gained a legal settlement there
And this Depont. saith that he has not since lived as
a hired servant by the year nor served any Parish
offices nor rented a house of Ten Pounds a year
or upwards nor done any Act to Acquire a subsequent
settlement And this Depont saith that he has a
wife named Sarah< no role > and tow Children to wit James< no role >
Aged about fourteen years (now at sea) and Mary< no role >
Aged about Twelve years the lawful Issue of this
Depont by his sd wife

June 1758 before us
